The Detroit Lions are trying to do something no team has ever done before in a season. Lose 16 games. Let's throw out the fact that the Lions haven't won any major title since 1957 and have never even made it to a Super Bowl making them arguably the worst franchise in the history of professional football. During the course of this year, we've seen Matt Millen quit (or so they'd have us believe), Roy Williams traded, Jon Kitna injured, Daunte Culpepper and Rudi Johnson signed, both of which who are past their prime.

The chances the Lions will win this year are dwindling with each week, and unlike Ford, GM and Chrysler the American government won't be bailing them out.
